Gripper Leads

Description:
All our leads are hand crafted and double coated to ensure durability. We have developed a full range of shapes and sizes, finished with either smooth or textured coatings to be almost invisible on most lake beds conditions.
The Big Gripper Lead is a unique lead, available in sizes up to 10oz, and is best suited to anywhere you need more grip, like rivers, on the sides of bars, along marginal slopes, boating out or at extreme range.
The small raised nodules grip the lake or river bed. Like the other flat shapes, these leads are also ideal for sloping island margins or bars.
 
Grippas have become massively popular for carp fishing, where carping in wide, fastflowing rivers is the norm and where you have to boat out baits massive distances.

Our Recommendation:
Every angler will have their preference for the type of lead they use depending on the lake they fish and their angling style. We recommend textured finishes as they reflect less light, camouflaging better in the lake sediment, though smooth coatings remain a traditional favourite for all-round situations.
